From a humble family beginning in Pune, Shri Shankarrao Kawre and his brothers brought Kawre Ice Cream to life, beginning a legacy that would span generations.
Early Years
Made using traditional methods, Kawre soon became a familiar name around Tulshibaug and Laxmi Road, creating cherished dessert memories across Pune.
Pune Favourite
As the queues grew, Kawre became synonymous with ice cream, Mastani and sundaes — bringing families and friends together, generation after generation.
1990
Kawre established its Khed Shivapur manufacturing facility with specialised machinery imported from Germany and Asia, marking a new era of modern production.

Under the next generation, Kawre continues to grow across Maharashtra through dealerships, distributors and franchises — carrying forward its timeless taste and values.
